Abstract
This study aims to develop a family-based model for promoting Iranian women's health. This qualitative study was conducted using the Grounded Theory approach. The participants were 21 Iranian women, 10 husbands, and 8 health care providers selected through theoretical sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and observations. Data analysis was performed using the constant comparative method. The core variable that emerged in this study was "family integrity based on religious values." Causal conditions included "socio-cultural context," "family-based vulnerabilities," and "health-seeking behaviors." Intervention strategies encompassed "family-based support structure" and "cultural-religious support strategies." The consequences of implementing the model were categorized into "family adaptability and growth," "holistic health," and "transcendence and empowerment." This family-based model, rooted in religious and cultural values, offers a framework for promoting Iranian women's health. It emphasizes the crucial role of the family and religious beliefs in addressing health challenges and fostering well-being among Iranian women.
