Abstract

The study evaluated the conflict management practices and Performances of civil servants in Enugu state. The specific objectives were to: examine the relationship between avoidance strategy and output; and ascertain the relationship compromise strategy and level of clientele satisfaction of civil servants in Enugu state. The study adopted descriptive survey. The primary source of data was questionnaire. A total population of 1107 staff was used. The adequate sample size of 285, using Freund and William's statistic formula at 5 percent margin of error. 265 staff returned the questionnaire and accurately filled. Data was analyzed and the Pearson correlation coefficient (r) was used to test the hypotheses.
