The journal serves as a premier platform for disseminating high-quality, peer-reviewed research that explores the intricate interplay between metabolic pathways, nutritional strategies, and drug-based interventions. FMMCN aims to foster collaboration and drive innovation in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of a wide spectrum of chronic metabolic conditions, ultimately improving patient outcomes and public health. Scope The journal welcomes original research, reviews, and clinical case studies that substantially contribute to the field. Specific areas of focus include: • Pathophysiology of metabolic disorders (e.g., diabetes, obesity, dyslipidemia, metabolic syndrome) • Nutritional biomarkers and their clinical significance • Dietary interventions and personalized nutrition approaches • Pharmacological agents targeting metabolic pathways • The gut microbiome's role in metabolic health and disease • Epigenetic modifications influencing metabolism • Surgical and endoscopic interventions for metabolic diseases • Development of novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies • Translational research from bench to bedside in metabolic medicine • Comparative effectiveness of different treatment modalities Article Types • Original Research Articles • Review Articles • Meta-Analyses • Clinical Case Reports • Short Communications • Methodology Articles • Perspective and Opinion Pieces Audience FMMCN targets a global audience of clinicians, researchers, dietitians, pharmacologists, endocrinologists, gastroenterologists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the study and management of metabolic health and disease.
