Aims
Frontiers in Veterinary Epidemiology and Global Disease Surveillance (FVEGDS) aims to advance the scientific understanding of disease patterns, determinants, and dynamics in animal populations. The journal provides a rigorous peer-reviewed platform for innovative research that improves the design, implementation, and evaluation of surveillance systems, disease control strategies, and outbreak investigations. By fostering a One Health perspective, FVEGDS bridges veterinary epidemiology with public health, ecology, and data science to address emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and other global health threats. The ultimate goal is to generate evidence that supports evidence-based policies, enhances biosecurity, and reduces the impact of animal diseases on food security, economies, and human well-being.
