About this journal
Aims The International Journal of Embedded Intelligence and Networks (IJEIN) is established to serve as a premier, open-access platform for disseminating cutting-edge research and fostering scholarly discourse at the nexus of intelligent embedded systems and networked environments. Recognizing the transformative potential of embedding intelligence into devices and integrating them seamlessly into diverse networks, IJEIN aims to accelerate advancements that underpin the Internet of Things (IoT) and its evolving applications. We are dedicated to publishing high-quality, original research that pushes the boundaries of theory, design, implementation, and evaluation in this rapidly expanding field. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive and accessible forum for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to share their findings, exchange ideas, and collaborate on solutions for a more connected and intelligent future. Scope IJEIN covers a broad spectrum of topics related to intelligent embedded systems and their integration into networks. We welcome submissions that address, but are not limited to: • Edge and Fog Computing Architectures for Embedded Systems • Machine Learning and AI Algorithms for Resource-Constrained Devices • Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS) and Middleware for Embedded Intelligence • Network Protocols and Communication Technologies for IoT • Cybersecurity and Privacy in Embedded Networked Systems • Sensor Networks and Data Fusion for Intelligent Applications • Embedded System Design and Optimization (Hardware/Software Co-design) • Applications of Embedded Intelligence in Smart Cities, Industry 4.0, Healthcare, and Autonomous Systems • Human-Embedded System Interaction and Interfaces • Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Embedded Systems Article Types • Original Research Papers • Review Articles • Technical Notes • Case Studies • Perspective Articles Audience The journal is intended for a diverse audience including researchers, engineers, computer scientists, graduate students, and industry professionals involved in the design, development, deployment, and application of intelligent embedded systems and networked technologies.
