Article Processing Charge

To promote global participation in scholarly publishing, APCs are based on the World Bank’s country income classifications.

1. High-Income Countries

APC: $150 USD (or local equivalent)
Applies to countries with advanced economies and high gross national income per capita.

2. Upper-Middle-Income Countries

APC: $100 USD (or local equivalent)
Applies to countries with growing economies and moderate per capita income.

3. Lower-Middle-Income Countries

APC: $50 USD (or local equivalent)
Applies to countries with developing economies and lower per capita income.

4. Low-Income Countries

APC: $50 USD (or local equivalent)
Applies to countries with the lowest per capita income and limited research funding support.

These rates ensure a standardized fee across different currencies for our global contributors. Additionally, authors may apply for a discount on the APC if needed.

Eligibility for Discount

Several reasons could qualify an author for a discount on the Article Processing Charge (APC) at Air Journal. These reasons may include:

  1. Financial Hardship: Authors facing financial difficulties or coming from low-income countries may be eligible for a discount.
  2. Early Career Researchers: Discounts may be offered to early career researchers or students who may have limited funding.
  3. Institutional Support: Authors affiliated with institutions that do not provide sufficient funding for publication costs can apply for a discount.
  4. Multiple Submissions: Authors who have multiple submissions within a short period might qualify for a discount.
  5. Collaborative Projects: Discounts may be available for authors involved in collaborative projects with institutions from low-income countries.
  6. Exceptional Cases: Any other compelling reason that warrants financial assistance, as evaluated by the journal’s editorial team.
